Hey there Rnd91,

"Buy the fear." Easy to say. Hard to do.

You watch a ticker pullback, know a bounce is coming, and still can't pull the trigger. Because from where you're sitting, it doesn't look like a bounce. It looks like the bottom falling out.

Here's the thing. The first major counter-trend move after a strong breakout or breakdown isn't random. It's one of the most repeatable setups in trading. Price runs hard in one direction, hits its first real overbought or oversold extreme, and reacts. That reaction is often what prints the next higher low on the bigger timeframe.

The problem was never knowing this happens. It's confirming it in real time, across multiple timeframes, while your gut is screaming the opposite of what the setup is telling you.

That's what BackBurner does. It reads directional momentum, multi-timeframe structure, and short-term volatility, then flags the level where that first reaction is most likely to hit. One line on your chart. No manually checking the 4-hour and daily every time price gets stretched.

Here are a couple of examples of the indicator being fired on TradingView, on the 4H timeframe.

You still manage the risk. You still decide the size. BackBurner just gives you the confirmation to actually take the trade instead of watching it happen from the sidelines. Sometimes you get new all-time highs, and sometimes it's just enough for a decent follow-through to profit.

It flips both ways too. Same logic in reverse: when price rips into overbought territory against a bearish trend, BackBurner flags that exhaustion point for shorts, so you're not just catching bounces, you're catching the fade too.
