**Not caring.**
Not caring about money would be reckless. This is about something specific: not caring whether you miss a move.

Strategy always precedes FOMO? Why? Because if there is no strategy, there is no setup. If there's a sudden move, only make an entry if there's a clear and sensible invalidation point. That's the whole filter. If the chart doesn't offer a clear gameplan, it was never a setup, it was a lottery ticket.

A missed opportunity costs nothing. A bad trade costs money and can lead to sloppy habits.
Part of what makes trading available and continuous as income is knowing that there is always another setup somewhere else.

Dan builds what he calls a conveyor belt of trade ideas, tracking potential setups across every timeframe, hourly charts, daily charts, all the way up to the monthly. Some of those ideas play out, and some don't. That's normal.

But with a pipeline like that running, missing one move on one chart barely registers. There's always something else further down the line. It's not really a mental trick, it's mostly just having enough ideas queued up that no single trade feels urgent.
That's where the pressure comes off. It's not just willpower holding back the FOMO, it's having other game plans already queued up so one missed trade never feels like the only shot on the table.

Say it out loud when a trade feels forced. I don't care if I miss this. If it runs without me, that's fine; it wasn't my ideal setup. Some days that sentence feels obviously true. Other days it takes more effort to convince yourself. But if it wasn’t your setup to begin with, it’s also not your miss.
