Here's what you need to know to keep it secure:
Cards come in sets of three. Each is a full, independent copy of your private key, so store them in separate physical locations, never all together. Set a strong access code so a lost or stolen card alone isn't enough for someone to act. And know the tradeoff: if you lose every card with no backup configured, and access is gone permanently. No support ticket, no reset, no recovery service.

But, that's real self-custody. No third party can help you, but no third party can touch your funds either.
