Ollama now supports DeepSeek Harness (dsh), DeepSeek's open-source agent harness.

Ollama's local and cloud models work with it out of the box without extra configuration.

Get started

Download Ollama, then run:
ollama launch dsh

If DeepSeek Harness isn't already installed, Ollama installs it and connects your models automatically.

See the agent work

Open the Trajectory tab to see the session trace: turns, context, and tool calls laid out as a timeline. Follow the agent's work
from the first prompt to the final answer.

Search the web

Ollama's web search is built into DeepSeek Harness. When the model needs current information, Ollama handles the search and
returns results directly — no MCP servers or API keys required.
